Today I found out about World Clock Widgets, thanks to a toot.

A series of smartphone screens displaying the World Clock app. The first screen shows the current time in various global cities. The second screen provides detailed information for PrΓncipe, including its location on a map, time zone, sunrise and sunset times. The third screen shows widget selection.

Happy I did, as it’s a lot better than Overlap, the app I’ve been using for the longest time. One thing always annoyed me: no 24-hour format available in the widget, even though the app has that option.

Anyway, this new one has more widgets than I could ever wish for, lots of information about each city you pick, and it’s free to try. I bought the unlock as soon as the app launched for the first time, as I know I’ll use it often. I hate ads, and love supporting indie developers. This particular one has a couple other apps I’ve used.

If you need information about multiple timezones (who doesn’t these days?), I can easily see how this app will help you.

No more bothering people when they’re just waking up, or about to go to bed.

You can thank me later.
