We had to stay out a little longer today, movieStar had back to back Zoom calls.

It started with going down Avenida da Liberdade, where I saw a very nice bumbag, one that would make a super gift for movieStar. Sadly the price tag said €745(!), just a little over what I was willing to spend…

The National Theater, the cool Rossio train station, on to the streets that connect that to the riverside.

We were headed for an area where we hadn’t been yet: Casa dos Bicos, where the José Saramago Foundation is located.

Already close to the river, the whole place is still being renovated, with construction still going on (for a while now), and a few green patches already done. It will look amazing when they manage to finish the whole thing.

Walked along the river, back to our regular spots.

Police patrolling Cais das Colunas, trying to keep groups down to a few people, a couple sawing a huge tree that drifted into the river bank,…

Around Mercado da Ribeira, back to Cais do Sodré, and up the hill again.

We were taking our time, slow walking to make this a three hour stroll, but got a call saying we could get back home, as the second call had been cancelled. We did end up spending two and a half hours outside. Not too shabby.
