Just got back from another edition of Bons Sons, the coolest festival in town. Always a pleasure, one of the highlights of my working year.

Happy Feet

The village of Cem Soldos puts up this amazing festival, and we’ve been making sure we attend as many times as possible. It used to be held every two years, now we’re lucky and we get a new one every single year.

As usual people in town make sure you feel comfortable and the music is always great. Best festival in the country ? Almost positive it is.

There’s great food and drinks, great music, and the coolest atmosphere you could wish for a festival. Not too crowded, just crowded enough. You move to the little town, and enjoy it for a few days. There’s plenty to enjoy.

This year I was waiting for a new camera to test on the festival, and it showed up on the last moment. I was able to take the new Leica Q out for a spin, and I’m glad I ordered this one. I feels good in my hands, and I’m enjoying the results so far.

Also the first time I tried a new workflow: Shooting the festival with the X-T1 and the little missQ, moving the photos to the iPhone via Wi-Fi and editing them on VSCO Cam. The computer was involved in the last moment only, for the captions/copyright editing and to send the photos back to the office. I could have used Transmit on the iPhone for all my FTP needs, but IPTC editing on the iPhone is not what I wanted yet. I still have to find an app that does batch processing for that. Moving the photos from the iPhone to the computer was an easy task with PhotoSync, the same app I use to archive them on Flickr.

Anyway, good enough for printing and online edition.
