Crossroads
We were getting home, after a nice drive to Cascais where we had a very cool Thai lunch. As soon as we left the tunnel theLovelyWife noticed something on the side of the road. It seemed like a huge street art piece was just getting started. It was as high as the building it was being painted on. We stopped the car and I did a couple of shots.
The giant piece was indeed getting started, and the author was working.
The artist’s name is Sainer and he was invited to Lisbon by Underdogs, as part of their Public Art Programme. I’m so glad they did.
For the next couple of weeks I would drive by on my way home, and shot a few more photos until the thing was done.
If you’d like to see the amazing work in person, you can find it at Av. Afonso Costa, in Lisbon (38.741361, -9.129806).
