Many moons ago, the one I first thought about for a series, helloYellow. I might start sharing those next…
💛🇸🇪
Another one of those days. Finally back home, ready to relax a little.
Only decision left for today: Vietnamese or Nepalese.
Sunday Chores
First thing this morning I drove to one of the local DIY stores, looking for a piece of wood, a beam, for the bed. Somehow it broke and needs a replacement.
There was a line on the road, the cars trying to get into the parking lot were too many. We’re still in lockdown and, realistically, how many people need to visit Leroy Merlin at 9AM on a Sunday morning ?
Got it, and spent 3 minutes inside before giving up. The line at the register was at least 100 meters long. I just don’t get it.
Drove back home.
After that we all went for our morning walk, got some supplies, and spent the rest of the day playing with tinyMovieStar, watching her sleep, feeding her, playing some more, and watching her sleep again.
That’s was it.
ZAP
Another one flew by!
A walk in the morning, the menace of rain always looming, and back home for a quick trip to the supermarket.
Spent a fair amount of time (of the limited one I have available for personal projects - 20 mins daily is my best guess) trying to figure out why I couldn’t set up forwarding on my mail account (more on that later), and just noticed the day was done.
We still managed our afternoon shift on walking detail and cooking dinner.
tinyMovieStar jumps up and down every time she sees me getting ready to go, I wish we could spend the whole day walking about, looking at everything on our path.
Toy Face Day
It’s here!
After I saw the amazing Toy Face @chrispederick had picked for his avatar, I knew I needed one for myself.
A quick visit to Toy Faces, by the talented Amrit Pal Singh (Twitter/Instagram), and I was on my way to an image refresh.
Waited a month, and today I got it. Amrit is kind enough to provide a JPG with black background, and a transparent PNG. Who knew, picking a background color is hard!
(I guess I’m going with the blue, for now…)
