books
📚 Done with Delisle’s Pyongyang, on to Burma Chronicles.
📚 Finally found my pet peeve with Kobo. It was not too easy.
I wish books not purchased from Kobo would sync across devices. Seems like all my previously bought books load with no issues, but do not sync.
I could load them on multiple apps, but reading progress will not update.
📚 A local publisher is having a sale on ebooks. I got three essays (total was €2.97), ready for my incoming Kobo.
📚 Pre-ordered. Picking up the Kobo Libra Colour this Tuesday. Hopefully.
📚 Now looking at the Kobo Libra Colour. Integration with Google Drive/Dropbox would be great. Loading books only when connected to the laptop feels like a hassle.
📚 Soooooooo…. Kobo Clara Color? Yes?
📚 Started by looking at Boox, and then realized Kobo now has color models, and they’re half the price of the smaller Boox.
Just trying to keep my brain busy, mind you.
📚 Here we go…
“history does not repeat, but it does instruct,” he analyzes recent European history to identify conditions that can enable established democracies to transform into dictatorships. The short (126 pages) book is presented as a series of twenty instructions on how to combat the rise of tyranny
Thank you for the tip, @ArnoldHoogerwerf.
