I noticed Feedbin updates feeds much faster than NewsBlur, and I think I might have found a reason why that is happening.

The way NewsBlur works requires that sites get updated on a regular basis, so we try to serve the most popular and frequently updated sites first. Sites that only have a single subscriber tend to get updated much less often, in comparison to those that have many;

Since I follow a lot of the Mb blogs via RSS, trying to make sure I don’t miss posts because we live in very different timezones, that will probably qualify as esoteric taste.

Of course I can wait a little longer for posts to show up, and I probably would never notice the delay if I wasn’t trialing Feedbin. But, now that I’ve seen it, I can’t unsee it…
