It’s done: there’s a blog with photos of Sticker Art being published on the Internet!
Not the only one, I’m sure, but this one is mine.

Following the advice of the fine people on Micro.blog I decided to go with blot.im. I’m enjoying it.

Quick to set up, decently priced, able to use my almost dead Dropbox account with it and, important, able to get the whole thing going on the iPhone, no need to open the laptop for this.

A project I could set up typing with two thumbs on a tiny keyboard, in between taking care of a tiny human. Neat.
And amazed by what you can do with an object that’s still called a phone, albeit a smart one.

Registered a new alias with Fastmail, signed up for an account on blot, authorized syncing on Dropbox, picked a theme, enabled Plausible on it, created a new Twitter account to share the posts, a new account on Zappier was set up with appropriate action (RSS to Twitter). That’s it.

Workflow now to have a new post: save the photo directly to Dropbox after I edit it on Lightroom, or anywhere else. That’s all I have to do.
Can’t get much easier than this, and that’s exactly what I was looking for.

I’ll stick with the blot domain for now, see how it goes. If I find myself posting often enough, I’ll register a domain a map it there.
